Him and i'd say the djinn's from gen 5 barely got any attention. Heatran lost attention to MUH REGIGIGAS which was stupid i hate that they are bringing back the regi series i hated them in hoen and i hate them now. the designs of the brail legends look like they were intended to be seen by the blind and every one of them sucks ass. i love their theme but the designs are straight trash
in terms of lore i think the legendary birds lost their value when it was revealed galar had their own regional forms. if you have a regional form you are not a legendary pokemon, if you are a legendary pokemon you should be one of a kind unique to the world as far as species go, could you imagine them making a galarian mew? no because it wouldn't make fucking sense to his story, Freezer, Thunder and Fire are literal incarnations of their elements it's fucking dumb to make a Thunder that's a fighting type even if the design is bad ass, make a new mon HELL MAKE A NEW TRIO OF LEGENDARY BIRDS, use the same designs, make them related to articuno zapdos and moltres that would be sick but don't make them the same, hell even make them CHILDREN of the legendary birds in the same nest group that would've been better.
People have a nostalgic attachment to that and if you try to appeal to that nostalgic attachment in the wrong way and end up offending the nostalgia whether intentionally justifiably or no it could ruin the character for the person offended.
TLDR: when your franchise is based around sentimental attachments and appealing to nostalgia don't fuck it up.
