The best pokemon I've ever bonded was Emboar, because it's my first pokemon and the reason why I got into Pokemon games as a whole. When I first saw him when eavesdropping on another student playing Pokemon BW in the gym, I thought it looked so cool and it peak my interests in the games. Now, I had no knowledge on how the games work because I thought you start off as Ash and Pikachu in every game and Hilbert looked like a white Ash, so I was surprised when you get the Unova starters instead. What made choose Tepig was the fact that, prior to getting the games, I had a Tepig toy from McDonalds that I thought was cute, and I've promised to catch one ever since. So, imagine my shock when I find out Tepig evolved into Emboar(yes, I was oblivious). And ever since, it's my bro. Gotten multiple shinies of it from different regions and even one with alot of ribbons. I'm planning on make my Unova shiny Emboar the ribbon master, tho.
