Eh, I think it's fine if not every member of that Elite Four had to be connected to you in some way or another. Alola's much smaller than any other region, probably, but I don't think it's supposed to be THAT small.

Honestly, I'm just happy SwSh did away with the Elite Four in general.

Kahili's name in and of itself also implies that she's a high status richfag that's related to birds.
Kahili were the feathered procession banners of Hawaiian chiefs. Only special bird catchers were allowed to take forest bird feathers and only a few at a time for catch and release reasons. They were therefore a luxury dick measuring item that took a long ass time to make. It's also the name of a ginger plant that looks like the banners to fit with trainers being named after plants theme.

Some other obscure ones:
Duck hook (snap hook)
Chicken Stick (safe shot with safest club)
Buzzard (double bogey)
Fried Egg (ball halfway sunk into a bunker)
Turkey (three birdies in a row)

Having a strong Flying-type makes a lot of sense for a golfer. No need for a cart when your buddy can just Fly you between shots! I wouldn't cheat by having my Pokemon alter the wind, though.
I'd also like a Water-type that could retrieve my ball from the pond, and maybe a Grass- or Ground-type that can help find stuff in the rough.
