I would choose a country with mega diversity just for the sake of exploration, the different routes, and the fauna/Flora.

But the reality is that countries are being chosen based on the taste of the Japanese as a tourist interest, so it's Europe or North America again.

Horrible idea. Galar was just one country and still managed to leave out a good quarter of England's available land; imagine how much more cool stuff would get lost if they tried to abridge South America into one region.

This is a pretty garbage take too. Trying to go extremely diverse just leads to incoherency and anti-uniqueness. I'd much rather see a limited selection of biomes fleshed out into creative settings ala Hoenn and Sinnoh.

Florida, to the point I've literally made one for a Pokerole game I'm going to be running. Florida is basically a Pokemon region with how fucking weird it is already, just add actual pokemon and you're good to go.
