I remember DistantKingdom making a video where the game is fucking bizarre because it actually had a complicated and thoroughly made Battle System coming from Gamefreak.
If they weren’t stuck making 3 fucking games, and focused on just Little Town Hero on a free year, it absolutely would’ve been more than it is now

Haha. And the system turned out to be one of the worse battle systems known to man.
"Don't fix what isn't broken" & "Don't Reinvent the wheel" are some things GF likes to cherrypick for the worst.

PSS was great - let us scrap it and make a worse online system.
PKNM battle system is way too simple - Town battle system will be the most unnecessary convoluted system known to man where you can easily get softlock due to RNG and the final boss can take up to 1hr to beat.

PKNM games are 99% the same - let leave it like that.

At worst, they could also be working on Gen 9 but the fact that BDSP isn’t by them and TPC is pushing the idea that this is a new direction for Pokémon, it’s possible it could actually work
