A wild Hatterene is vey much a murder machine, anon, and you’d have to be stupid to think otherwise. Yes you can form a loving bond with one, but it takes a long time and you NEED to know EXACTLY what you are doing to properly take care of them, both physically and mentally, due to their unique circumstances. They can be friendly to you, but they will never be retardedly loyal to you or try to pamper or coddle you and their hard-earned trust is not hard to break. They will never, ever have the same level of devotion that a Gardevoir has: it’s just not in their nature and runs contrary to their entire being.
For the record, Bede gives this information in the Isle of Armor, but only in the desert area (which is where he takes her to destress herself since there’s not that many living things around).
