>>48247430I see where the complain is comming from since the sun has always been heavely linked to fire in the pokémon universe (see volcarona, sunny day) wich seems pretty logical since sun=giant fire ball in the collective unconscious , and pokémon being a non scientifically accurate children's game it perfeclty made sense to play with that misconception.
but gamefreak being gamefreak when the time came to make a literal sun pokémon they decided to go a little farther and surprise everyone by giving him a more sientifically accurate type wich is pretty cool in my opinion.
