The issue was that instead of just having them off during Amie and on during battle, they had them off in battle too. They most likely did it so that it wouldn't look cooler than Charizard (notice how the same Gen that had took always Typhlosion's flame from its battle sprite was the same Gen that gave Charizard two special snowflake forms that conveniently removed all of Charizard's design flaws while being completely broken).

>>48256557That makes no sense. Mainly becasue of Decidueye. the Rowlet line is too new to get a regional evo meaning its unlikely any of the starters will. plus they already fit thematically as they are as refences to Japanese military and Ainu culture.
