>>48259362Most Dark-types before Weavile/Sneasel were slow and shitty though. Only Houndoom and Sharpedo had an attacking stat above 100 and speed above 90. Tyranitar was also slow as shit but it at least had sand, huge stats, DD, and a giant movepool.
Outside of those four you only had shitmons like Umbreon, who only became usable in Gen 5 with Foul Play, Absol, Crawdaunt, Drapion, Honchkrow
yes Honchkrow is a shitmon even if you like it, Cacturne, Sableye, which got Prankster only in Gen 5 and a Mega in Gen 6, Shiftry, Skuntank, and Spiritomb
