>>48261358Well, a Cyndaquil is a Cyndaquil. It's important to understand that many Pokemon, especially early designs, do not have a one to one translation with a real life animal; personally, I think this is for the best. Cyndaquil in particular though seems to incorporate traits from hedgehogs, porcupines, things of that nature. I'm not sure what design philosophy Quilava follows, but Typhlosion is more of a honey badger than a porcupine or hedgehog.
Cyndaquil though is a really cute design.
