I only looked up the Japanese version because the other commenters were saying that Chuang Yi's English translation was incorrect or edited and that Viz Media's translation was more accurate. It made no sense to me. If slapping her ass was accidental, then why the hell was he smiling? Technically the original Japanese even doubles down on the perversion relative to the Chuang Yi translation since it uses a pleonasm (redundancy for emphasis). It says "Dare da? Kono feromon munmun no nē-chan wa." (Who is... this sexy pheromone chick?). Pheromone in Japan is used outside the strictly scientific sense to also mean someone who is attractive. That said, I do understand why Viz Media censored it. I wouldn't want children reading such things either.
