All of you who expected BDSP or PLA news set yoursepves up for disappointment, especially as we just got news last month. These games are inter-gen filler, so they don't warrant a constant drip feed of information.
We won't see pokemon in a generic nintendo direct until the pre release season of Gen 9, which is either next gear or 2023. Even then, pokemon might still elect to present their news separately as they have been doing.
