I unironically enjoy this game and still play it daily but the story was embarrasingly bad even for a pokemon game. The characters have such memorable designs but they do absolutely nothing with them,.

Commit seppuku please.
The gen 5 sprites were dynamic so they were all remade individually with moving parts, in case you didn't know.

Yup, now instead of your Starter getting grossly overleveled by soloing the game with it your Starter can be grossly overleveled AND you'll have appropriately-leveled Pokemon right behind it as backup that does more than die so you can spam Revives and Full Restores on your Starter!
