I'm not 100 percent certain, but I don't believe alolan starters are legal in anything but poke all. I don't believe you could catch them in gen 7 and I believe they only transfered to 8 with bank.

I just did some research on the matter, and pls don't ask for sauce, it's very specious, but apparently Japan had events where starters could be caught, some amibo bs interaction and they could catch starters in gen 7. One anecdote expresses that balls other than apricorn balls for gen 7 starters pass legality test, where as Kurt's balls don't. But I don't know other than pemire ball Incin is a sick shiny hunt. I hope they do something like that soon so I can mm a Safari ball Rillaboom

Yes as long as you have a Nintendo account iirc. There’s an option to trade data between consoles in the settings

I guess this is the only thread asking about the games. Any of you have the games digitally? Is it even worth it? I am heavily thinking of getting a voucher for metroid and pearl. But on the other hand I can get both games physically for the same price (sadly no german packaging).
