>>48281498She is a great character, her biggest problem is having a nerfed Ash as a partner, many complain that Iris was very aggressive with Ash, but this was partly because he deserved it in that season, very similar to how Misty would scold to Ash, also in part she was projecting herself due to her own flaws and was too immature to admit them.
Now with a more balanced Ash it is fun to see their interaction, Ash is not only more experienced, but he responds to her provocations and confronts Iris, it is like seeing a couple of siblings fighting, in the right doses it is a good comedy.
