Previous games weren't flawless and newer games are not completely void of features, but the people who are subjectively displeased with the quality of features that are there in place of what was available before do not want to support removed content from the biggest IP in the world.

Do what you want. I can't stop you and my individual lost sale and complaints are not going to fix anything. You enjoy what is being officially offered from the brand and the most joy I get out of it currently is shitposting about it, but I'm not even able to do that anymore. Also I bought a Switch two years early just for Pokemon so fuck whichever group of people keep rushing Game Freak games out the door when they clearly need more time and probably dev training. Legends is going to be optimized in 4 months? I have a higher chance of finding gold in my asshole.

I have been critical of different Pokemon games before and have "boycotted" several games including half the 3ds games and I don't plan on buying BDSP for the same reason I didn't buy LGPE:The the game is the same game I already played. There's no justifying rehashes and I'm glad that SS is actually a new experience and went for DLCs to avoid releasing the same game twice.

Being honest a lot of games nowadays are worth their price tags. Usually AAA games have been lackluster but once in a red moon one will be worth. Pokemon on the other hand has not been worth it's price for a long time.
