Do you even read what you type? Suicune was too exhausted to fight back efficiently, but a couple minutes of rest in the episode was enough for it to regain its power. So then why didn’t it take a few minutes of rest before running off to the lake to purify it? It’s just a whole lot of bullshit plot convenience which is what people are mad about. Goh caught it with one Pokeball, so how come the poachers never tried a single time to do the same thing? Suicune was still yanked out the tree but seconds later it was strong enough to attack, which made no sense.
But what people were really mad about was that Goh was the first person of the main cast besides Ash to own a Legendary. The problem with that is that Goh is a beginner, no where near experienced enough to even be able to do such a thing, how early in the series it happened, and how Suicune fucked off in the end anyways as if none of it amounted to anything. The same thing can happen to Suicune with different hunters but no one in universe seems to care. You can defend it all you want but even the Japanese fans hated it.
