>All Pokemon unobtainable in Platinum (Murkrow, Glameow, ect), are now obtainable again in the wild
>Fairy-Type added
>Gen 5 gems, Eviolite and Hidden Abilities added
>Regional Forms added, but no Megas, Z-Moves, or Dynamax
>BW2 repels
>HM/field moves only require badges, and no longer require the Pokemon take-up a moveslot (Example: Flying Pokemon can use Fly, cutting Pokemon can use Cut, ect)

>gyms are slightly open-world, and the teams/levels depend on how many badges you have

>trainer customization and trainer classes are linked, with certain clothes, hairstyles, ect, being exclusive to certain classes
