Uh anon, the SuMo starters are some of the only ones that appeared again in SwSh. They cut the gen 2, 4, 5, and 6 starters, but not Incelroar.

I don't understand your point dude. There are 7 generations of starters before Galar, and of those, only 3 appear in game. That's less than half. Of those small number, the SuMo starters returned over older and more popular ones. What am I missing here?

Cope. Typhlosion is one of the most beloved Starters of all time and Feraligatr is both popular and memorable. Meganium is also very memorable due to how shit it is, and it has its own autistic fanbase. No one likes the Galar Starters except little Timmy who got a Switch + SwSh for Christmas.

Cinderace is more popular than any of the Johto starters, especially among kids today. Inteleon is very popular in Japan. And Rillaboom is a staple in competitive. Typhlosion is the only Johto starter that has some popularity in Japan, while Feraligatr isn't even as popular as its baby form, and no one gives a shit about Meganium.
