not because of this. but because it has that lgpe texture to it. i dont even mind it being chibi or grid map style. i just hate that swsh lgpe swsh look. i'd rather play platinum. swsh games literally make me seasick they're so ugly

I agree, the none of the textures in switch pokemon games go well together. That pic in the OP has strange shading as well which give it an uncanny look (everything has highlights and shines even in the shade). It looks like it's half-way through rendering or something, with various low-res textures just floating on top of each other. Objects just rest on each other and don't have any flow between textures, like those rocks look abhorrent. I don't understand how GF is so incompetent considering they are a billion-dollar company

If the game has enough new content to fill the void of what isn’t in the game compared to Platinum, it’ll be fine.

So I do have a Scizor in this game, but I have no fucking clue where it is. What spots are there that you can leave a Pokemon? I checked the day-care, and nothing is in there. Are there any other spots where you can possibly leave a pokemon and pick up at a later date?

Are there no other areas that you can keep your pokemon in indefinitely? Like some battle facility or a place where I have to pick them up afterwords?

They did it for HGSS.
Hell they even kept the original GC in the Japanese versions but did Voltorb Flip for everyone else. Once upon a time people working on Pokemon games actually knew what effort was.
