Pokemon have multiple sizes, and we've literally seen a much bigger onix already in the distance

Also that picture doesn't show that your character is actually a manlet compared to the fence, so technically that Onix actually is Big

The fence is already shown to be ~5' tall since it's about the height of the trainers. And Onix is a few feet taller than that. So Onix's height from ground to the top of his head is 10'. But then there is the whole fucking rest of it that's slinked behind on the ground.

A 10 foot snake does not mean that the snake is literally 10 feet tall off the ground. It means that it's 10 feet long. Have you ever seen a cobra rear up? It doesn't rear up 18 feet.

Same thing with Onix.
