I think this image and past comments really show the nihilism and lack of faith Gamefreak has in children. They said in the past that kids don't want to play anything with remotely challenging content, and that kids are just on their phones all day. Both are true, yes, but they continue to ruin the brand name to cater to the laziest and dumbest. This image just screams "how will children relate to this game without a cellphone?" This mindset that kids are absolute retards is ruining the series for everyone else.
