I just found out that Magnezone and Vikivolt got updated to evolve through a Thunder Stone in Sword and Shield.
What the fuck, what other sneaky evolution changes did GF do?

Glaceon and Leafeon now evolve via Ice Stone and Leaf Stone

Hopefully the trend continues and Sylveon evolves through Shiny Stone, Umbreon evolves through Moon Stone and Espeon evolves through Sun Stone because there is no day and night system in the gen 4 remakes

Possibly unrelated, but swsh also tweaked egg groups. Avalugg line got Mineral added, Gardevoir line got Human Like added, Flygon and Noivern got Dragon added, and Hawlucha got Flying added.

Gen 4 is literally the only generation where the Day and Night cycle get different music FFS, we never had that happen again until Gen 7.
