No HMs is fantastic for the main campaign, and being able to play online with my bro is the main thing I care about in the post-game. It's gonna be comfy.
Also for most stores in my country, buying this game day one lowers its price to 45 €, which is more decent than 60 €.

Arceus, Shaymin and Darkrai event.
If they managed to add any of these in the remake like they did with the delta episode I could see it being pretty kino (even dlc is fine).

BDSP is officially superior to DPPT. Even the most hardcore autists would try to argue Crystal is better than HGSS and RBY is better than FRLG, BDSP might be the remake that is 100% better than what it's based on. All DPPT has left to cling to is the Battle Frontier, for now. This might be reaching, but the Legends Arceus trailer had what appears to be Darach's ancestor. Could it mean something? Who knows.

i agree that BDSP is already superior to DPPt on a baseline level, game mechanics-wise. things like player customization and revamped underground were a real pleasant surprise, so now i'm not so pessimistic as i was before about these games. i'm expecting anything and it's a nice feeling. honestly, it all comes down to the execution of post game content at this point. if the game comes out to be really tight, i won't really mind certain things like being capped to 493.

this is a half-step, they either shouldn't have bothered to be more faithful or gone all in. Simply replacing the HMs with some shitty PokeRide 2.0 doesn't fix how ungodly lame those roadblocks are, people bitch about the B2W2 dancing roadblock but explain to me how some fucking stupid shrub or cracked rock is any better, at least strength can make a mediocre puzzle out of itself and surf opens up water traversal (even though it's been the same shit in every game without any attempt to improve it).

A lazy excuse for not including the Platinum dex in the overworld. Instead they make us find statues, which will open the hidden wild areas. Basically a much counterintuitive way of getting Platinum Pokemoin, rather than just putting it in the overworld.
