So I finally got most of the mons I wanted after beating the last gym in Galar. They had it be a nice change of pace from the last 8 gens (not alola) which was a pleasant surprise (it funny cuz for my homebrew game I had done similar things for my gym battles). Until I can find Mimikyu (I'm not doing the DLCs til I beat the base game) I'm running Togekiss (got a modest 5 star one first time I ever encountered it in a den) in its place with some rules. I'm treating it as "Guardian of the Spirits", since it protects the ghosts from sinister forces (walls the Dark weakness the rest of the team has), so it must always be first in my team slot; typically I can't switch to the ghost mons unless Togekiss faints; however if Togekiss gets to red bar without fainting it can "call forth the spirits for aid". I'm having fun with this theme but I'm still trying to get to Mimikyu. Hopefully I can get some fog in the wild area today, I'm checking here soon.
>>48321709Good team, I just feel like training up 8 at once in emerald will turn into a big grind fest sometime between badge 6 or 7.
>>48321788Good type spread and offense, but really squishy team. Might want to add a flyer.
>>48321813Great team, I remember those hgss hacks being a lot of fun. Did they ever patch the issue where the game fell apart if you grabbed the lagging tail? I found that out the hard way my first time playing them and save locked myself into inevitable crashing.
>>48321822>>48322204Good team, and Houndoom is very good in platinum. She chose well. What's your 6th gonna be?
>>48322108Mismagius is awesome, good pick. You do get a crazy attack boost for Weavile, but I cann why you wouldn't want to either. But unfortunately eviolite is a multiplier so one something like Sneasle that has low defenses you aren't going to get much out of it. Still will improve it though, don't get me wrong, just still think it'll be a little squishy too.
