There is no law that says the anime can't use character design from Masters. Furthermore the characters in PM series look more accurate to their game counterparts in the game.

Furthermore the anime can use their own idea with Sgyna Suit Misty specially after SM artstyle butchered her. Maybe she will wear casual clothes with that hairstyle or she will appear with untied version of her Sgyna Suit hairstyle.

It would be cool if she start wearing stab earing to look more tomboyish. Since she doesn't have sidelocks means her Earing will be visible all the time.

I tried educating twitter people that Dawn's cameo was good and she's probably going to appear again, but most of them kept saying it's disappointing because they want "some update on her goal" or interacting with Ash. I don't know why since Dawn mentioned she's been to regions for contests and this cameo was about her and Koharu.

She added nothing to the episode besides someone for Chloe to learn from, and Chloe learned nothing like usual.
It doesn't help that Dawn is known to be a proactive character, but ended up being very passive for her cameo which just isn't right.

Chloe did learn something. She learned that she is pretty good at understanding Pokémon’s feelings. However Dawn was pointless here since it was Go who points that out and not Dawn.

Dawn is just a Piplup advert at this point. The writers don’t seem to be interested in doing anything with here. This a stark contrast with Iris, who they seemed to be more invested in her return Maybe if she comes back they do more with her, but right now I don’t get the hype about her return.

Here is a list of lead girl that are relevant to the current series --

1. Misty : Nostalgia, funny personality, diverse chemistry with the cast , big sister figure giving guidance to other characters. Furthermore she lives close to Vermilion city which means she can casually appear in the show as a supporting character without any specials.

I wonder if Misty could appear with her Sygna suit hairstyle in a more casual clothes in the anime. Misty had only one disadvantaged against Serena but it seems pokemon masters took care of that.

LOL, even with the Gigantamax Gengar news, people still find a way to be negative. On the forums the usual suspects are saying things like, "Too little, too late," or "Are we expected to care about Gengar now?" or "Journies is a trainwreck and it'll probably learn to Gigantamax off-screen."

Literally what about that is rushed?

Ash already has a strong bond with Lucario so all he needed was the mega stone and key stone (key stones aren't rare so that's not an issue)

He doesn't need more than a single episode to get a stone, that'd be boring and it'd be mostly filler

Bruh, mega evolution is an important evolution. I get that Journeys has completely devalued the idea of evolving, but there should be character building between Ash and Mega Lucario and at least like one episode of practice or something before jumping into big shit like battling Bea. I never said it needed another episode of Ash getting the mega stone, what I said was that there should have more episodes in which Ash uses ML before he fights Bea. The only problem with mega evolution and the only reason it may not work is that you need a strong bond with your pokémon. Ash already has it so there's no need to train, he already mastered Mega Evolution.

Seeing him bond with Lucario to master it would feel like filler since they already did that.

No, there are plenty of ways for the anime to invent other problems with ME, especially with they make it Ash's Lucario specific related since there's no need for Ash to do a Korrina. Not really. The only "trial" is beating Korrina. Once you do that and she gives you Lucario, you automatically have access to ME. The XY anime tried to make it more dramatic then it actually was. PM is just making the concept more in line with the games.

I don’t see how Mega is any different than the other battle gimmicks. People complain that evolutions are rushed, catches are rushed, battles are rushed, thing aren’t “developed” or “earned”. How many episodes of this series do you really want to be lost-in-the-forest watching failure filler episodes? I’d rather see shit get hype at this point.

So let's see we're getting:

- Cynthia getting a proper episode and introduction with the Unown

- Korrina returning giving Ash the Mega stone or finding it together so it doesn't come out of nowhere.

- Bea round 3 looks great with Gigantamax Machamp and Mega Lucario

- Eventually Gengar will Gigantamax at some point

And yet people are still complaining as if nothing is happening this series. And besides that blue Pokemon filler we just got, we had a ton of important eps like Volkner, Project mew, etc. all right before that too.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Unown is a gen 2 Pokemon and Sinnoh and Johto are some what connected. Also, I don't think they want to overdo shilling Sinnoh since they still have another special coming up soon.

Whoever design Sygna Suit Misty probably taken idea from both her game and anime counterpart's design and fuse them to draw a prettier Misty.

Considering this Misty has 3 spiky edge like anime Misty with two of pointing downward. However her bangs look more similar to her LGPE counterpart.

Was it really though. I don't want to seem negative but it just felt like an extended ashnime episode. I really liked Destiny Deoxys as a kid and the sci fi aesthetic still upholds and is kino as fuck, but the actual movie is surprisingly uneventful.
The Giratina movie and the Arceus movie were cool. And of course, the Latias movie still remains undisputed as the most cinematic piece of literal art that you can show to people who don't even care for Pokemon or anime.
