He likes competitive and pokemon's gameplay as is. BDSP's QoL and polish is more appealing to him than Legends attempting something else with action segments, older setting and the new pokedex requirements.

No. He’s literally mad because he wanted a DP remake with SwSh graphics, not a prequel that Legends is supposed to be. That has been his main complaint and why he is riding for BDSP more.
