>postgame story plus a new area that isn't a ghost townThere's plenty to do in Kanto in HGSS, and none of the "postgame story" even goes anywhere. As far as I'm concerned platinum ends after the credits roll because nothing after that is worth my time.

Plus, it actually ramps up the difficulty of the elite four once you beat all the gyms and they are even tougher than the Sinnoh Elite four and even tougher than Red (who I will admit is a pussy bitch). Plus, with the returning legendaries you have way more to do that is nowhere near as obnoxious as the postgame legends in Sinnoh.
