Since they keep insisting on giving forms and evolutions to previous Pokemon what are things you absolutely do not want to have an evolution of? For me, this. An Evolution would be Ferrothorn but faster butwith a 4x Weakness that has easy work arounds and the movepool of a pikaclone

Heracross. It's stupid. They gave Stunfisk a regional form but no evo. Heracross who is 10000 times better than Stunfisk one day might be replaced and ruined by an unnecessary evolution for no reason other than GameFreak are hacks and can't just make new pokemon. Pretty soon with enough cross gen evos, all of the older dexes will became NFE only. It's ridiculous and I hope they chill out and only give it to really weak pokemon instead if they really must do it.

Also for this reason I also feel bad for Scytherbros because Scizor basically replaced it and turned it into a NFE pokemon no one cares about despite both being 500 BST. Scizor could have worked as a standalone imo

Also some pokemon are better off remaining as is. Not everything needs to be 2 stages or 3 stages. People feel like fake fans of a pokemon if they outright want a cool older pokemon to be basically replaced by a new gen cross-evo. Stat/move buffs and new abilities are fine enough
