I personally love it and feel it is a nice breath of fresh air opposed to the imo declining mainline series.

Sword and Shield are better games than this shitheap, but if you've got a gambling addiction - thanks Celadon game corner - it's fine to do dailies on. The story mode sucks dick and the rare drop rates are baffling, you can get nothing in one roll then pull three sigma suit reds in the next.

I meant more the fact they're incredibly stingy with gacha currency. It takes 3000 to roll once, you're lucky to make that much in a month.

Meanwhile, Digimon Re:arize is generous enough that just by playing the PVP I can earn at least a roll if not two every week just by maintaining my rank.

How long until mainline and spin off games die and pokemon fully embraces being a mobile game franchise, everyone at gamefreak makes mobile games or gets completely trashed?
I wouldn't be to surprised, I don't think Nintendo could stop them, they would still make money and probably more if they shat out even more mobile games.

I'm not going to defend this game but Digimon Re: arize is legit one of the stingiest/worst gachas i've ever played second only to linkz.

They literally skipped half the content for NA to accelerate powercreep/catch us up with JP and between it and masters ive always got ways to make currency in masters while pvp is the greatest chore of the game and gives comparable results with you look at rates between the games.

I just want a good Digimon gacha someday that's all.

I don't enjoy it at all, I played for just under two weeks when it first came out, and then reinstalled it recently to give it a second chance, but I still dislike it. It's hideously complicated, stingy with its gacha mechanics, and has an extremely boring story to boot. Also the three simpering Nurse Joy type characters in the lobby are grotesque
The idea of seeing characters from different games interact is fun, but Masters itself is not enjoyable enough an experience to suffer through to see it happen

It is a very bad game, the returned characters are useless because the game's writing is as bad as the games so all you get out of them is weak "i love my pokemon" tier shit instead of actualy good interactions. It's entire value seems to exist as a coping mechanism for people mad at Gamefreak.
