Do you think Legends will be at least decent? Would it be worth the manpower done by the entirety of GF? That way, Gen 9 will be released for 2023 so it will not be rushed like SwSh.

No, and gen 9 is 2022 whether you like it or not. Legends takes no more manpower than a traditional remake would have. You have to remember that it is -not- open world and has a stripped down battle system

honestly, i have some hope. the spinoffs have always been better than the main games, so even with game freak as it is now, i'd at least watch vinny play it.

From the looks of it so far it seems like they've stripped away even more content and features than SWSH did, so I'm not very hopeful. Mind you, I NEVER wanted open world memes for Pokemon.

You clearly do not know how they allocate their manpower. Gen 9 already started developing immediately after swsh while the dlc and legends are developed concurrently by another team with some members working on both teams too.

Cant believe people think that they only started developing sun moon after oras (hence the no Z) argument, or swsh only start developing after lgpe, or gen 9 will only start developing after legend arceus when they repeatedly stated it is usually a 3 years development cycle and the next gen is worked on directly after the release of the new gen.

The machine doesn't stop, they've proved time and again, they don't care for the manchild "let's take a year off, because I can't handle them releasing a game-a-year, now I'm 22 instead of 12" mentality and frankly, had they WANTED to burn 2022, wanted to take a year off, they'd have released Legends in November and gotten that year gap. But they're falling over themselves to shit that out in January, meaning they want November free for something else.

You know you can ALWAYS skip a year's release yourself? Hell, with the DLC now replacing third versions, you can skip new Gen release years and STILL get the same experience as the early-adopters?
