See, my problem with this is that it seems like they designed certain Gmax forms like this first and worked backward. This normally wouldn't be a huge issue, aside from the fact that Gmax forms are problem going to be regulated to spin-off games in the future, leaving Duraludon feeling incomplete.

This is my regional gimmicks like this are pretty awful because pokemon in those gens rely on it so much when it's removed they become mediocre, why waste time making a model and animations for something that will be trashed next game?
Just stick with one thing and flesh it out, Jesus Christ gamefreak.

Agreed, which is why Gmax are my least favorite of the gimmicks. At least Megas and Z-moves are more of an add-on to a Pokémon. Gmax forms really feel like they complete a line, at least for the Galar Pokemon, and next generation the lines will feel unfinished

Sandaconda got hit hardest by this.
Coiled Snake as a tornado is a great idea, but without the G-max it's just a weird ass cone for seemingly no reason.
