>>48357877I prefer Crystal, but keep in mind I grew up playing it on a GBC so people who were to play it now for the first time wouldn't really get the same experience. I will add though that Crystal is by far the best of the GBC pokemon games and really the only one worth playing today, it makes very good use of the console's limited graphics. As for HGSS, the only really notable additions that I recall are the Gym Leader rematches, most of the other stuff that it added was cool but rendered forgettable after later additions to the series. Much, MUCH better than ORAS and Let's Go, though.
