Nah Blaziken is just a handsome chickendude. Footbunny is a mascot character. Based as hell stats and stupidly useful in-game, but I'd sooner imagine it doing a dance routine in a half-time show than I would living in the wild and existing. Blaziken on the other hand looks like some sort of stalwart martial artist warrior who'd go on solo journeys around the world seeking ever stronger opponent.

This is by far the laziest starter design. It just gets bigger through "evolution" and its entire evolutionary line had its stats copy and pasted from the Charmander line. I know that people don't like overdesigned Pokemon, but this is at the opposite side of the sprectrum.

I only used Inteleon because I wanted my Starter chosen at random this gen and swore to use it regardless of how I felt about it, but if the next batch of Starters has final evolutions this awful/bland, I'll box the fucker I get, replace it with the regional bird as my Starter, and never look back.

Serperior is simple, but cool.
Emboar has an interesting color scheme.
