I did actually, but the actual unironic part that makes it feel like I"m the only one isthat I like the female one more. And I recognize it's a bland design but it just looks neat to me, I like how sleek it is and the crest on the male is a little too much. The female is just cute. And it was a very serviceable main flying type pokemon in White so I grew attached to it.

Same. It’s a really solid Pokémon against legendaries in dynamax adventure, too. Shame that Pidove was the very first shiny I encountered, I wasn’t paying attention and not looking at the screen, and even had the volume off, because when I saw from the corner of my eye that it was just a Pidove, I escaped the battle without paying proper attention.

This was when I just got the fire badge, too, meaning I didn’t have the shiny charm.

It hardcarried my ass in B2. It has 3/4 of the elite 4 down + it can learn Ice beam to deal with all the dragons (2/3 of Iris, Ghetsis' Hydreigon, N's uber, Cynthia's Garchomp, Benga's entire team) since all the actual Ice types in that game kinda suck + it can Hm slave with surf or more if you want

I have the theory that if only Meditite's pants looked like yoga bloomers (what they are supposed to be) instead of like diapers (what everyone assumes they are) it would have become a reasonably popular and recurring pokemon.
We could have gotten the yoga granola sports-girl of pokemon, the femnine unevolved fighting type to contrast Machop and Makhuita, and the athlethic counterpart of Kirlia and Gothorita... but instead we got what most people think is a weird tail-less monkey on a diaper they would rather awkardly ignore until it goes away.
Poor Medicham has to carry the line on its own.

I really like his design but I think he got shafted by being quadrupedal and not bipedal. Like he’s a swordsman but runs around on all 4s and it just looks dumb as hell
