Honestly, I wish they would just combine the concepts and go from there. Make Venusaur, Blastoise, and Gengar’s Gmax Mega X, Gmax Charizard becomes Mega Z, and go from there

Mega evolution would probably win an in-game 1v1 battle by just stalling the 3 turns, but G-max would still be useful for the ability to give stat boosts and other effects, especially in doubles.

The game characters and even the devs hype Galar's mons as the strongest, the idea is that Dynamax is the ultimate power up, hence the time limit.
Megaevolution is canonically weaker than Dynamax, but Dynamax only lasts for a limited amount of time so... who knows?

Gigantamax is a joke, most G-Max moves are less useful than normal Max moves and they're all tiny compared to normal dynamax.

It’s a good topic to bring up.
I am hoping that GMAX gets left in Galar like Z Moves in Alola. I predict it will but what I am hoping for the most is that mega evolution returns and it isn’t a forgotten about mechanic. I think it’s crucial to bring it back but how is it that different from the other two gimmicks? It would make the game chaotic by putting dynamax, mega evolution, and z moves together in one game.
