>>48377730>JohtoDoesn't have a decent candidate, unfortunately. The earliest one I can think of is Stantler, but you don't get access to it until you beat Whitney, so it can't really count. Ampharos is another maybe due to its great movepool in gen 4, but it's only barely decent in gen 2.
>HoennGardevior or Pelipper. Move variety on Gardevoir and utility on Pelipper make them really good warly mons.
>SinnohStaraptor. After the small hurdle of Roark, the game is ready for steamrolling. A little later, but Driftblim is also pretty good and has a wide enough movepool to carry you through the game.
>Unova Excadrill, no questions asked. It's too fast and too strong for how early you get it, the games become a joke after you evolve Drilbur.
>KalosFlorges or Aegislash. Both are caught between the first and second gyms, and are built for lategame as they are stone evos. Seeing how easy it is to get stones super training, both become OP in the midgame, when the TM selection gets a bit more varied.
>AlolaToucannon. If you get one with skill link, it becomes GOAT really fast. Not much else to say.
>GalarThere's so many. Not because the games are maybe the second easiest in the whole series, but because you can get most of them early in the dens. To be really particular, I'd say Corviknight. Starts off as pure flying with acess to hone claws and power trip, which is a stupidly broken combo in the early game, then becomes a steel type to compund how good it is. Side note: Corviknight is best bird.
