There's ALSO the fact ILCA are sub-contracted to GF for this project. Game Freak STILL get paid from BDSP, just so's you know. They just didn't waste any time working on it. I've heard of not giving them money, but giving them money when they're not doing a tap is a new one.

Pokemon will never get better, only worse.
It's fucking weird knowing that the last acceptable games were the 4 sun and moon games, not even good, just acceptable.

Gamefreak will never improve, thier is no incentive, no reason to, the spice will flow.

I kinda hope they fuck up so bad it all goes to shit and the series is in real danger of dieing, its the only way it might get into competent hands.

They can't do shit with it anymore hence why Gens 6-8 are just forcing shitty gimmickd. This is like Zelda but arguably way worse because 3D Zelda didn't feel nearly as stale.

Good thinking, but the chances are slim. They have tried and tested the formula for 25+ years. They know what they're doing to make money.
They really have to fuck up one big thing to make it all collapse.
We'll have to be ready if or when that happens. Don't give them an inch to recover until they do it right.
