PSA has widened the "gem mint" definition to include cards that are now graded as 8 or 9, but would have been graded as 10s in years prior.
>inb4 poorcopeGo look at the PSA grading standards on their website. The difference in physical appearance from 10 to 9, and 9 to 8, are extremely obvious, even to the naked eye. This standard has not been kept as of recent.
And this isn't about me thinking that "graded 8s are actually 10s!!!" It's more about how the financial gap between an 8 and a 9, and a 9 and a 10, and even an 8 and a 10, is bullshit.
