>>48389204First I want to say: I agree
My memory is a little fuzzy, so forgive me if I say something wrong.
I don't understand why they were like "oh no, we cannot communicate with Kanto" because that nullifies everything that was done, not only by team rocket, but also by us the player
This means everything we did to try and stop them was pointless
Why can't the radio tower just have a connection to Kanto like we were led to believe? Then it would actually matter what the player did
And then there was the machine part for the power plant and the magnet train… why did that happen again?
Because that was a connection to Kanto, which I would have thought would be really important for team rocket, and instead they just… sabotaged it?
And that took down the function of the Lavender town radio tower… which implies there WAS a connection of some sort to the radio system
The game story basically tells us there is a connection
Then it tells us there isn't
But then the mechanics of the game with the train and the other radio tower implies that there is
Why can't their plan have worked if we didn't stop them?
Because with how they nullified it; story wise, the only things we actually did that mattered was deliver a machine part after a bunch of fuckin retards messed up some equipment
We could have just been a maintenance guy delivering some copper wire after some meth addled junkies stole it from the power plant and in the events of that universe it would have been the EXACT SAME!
Or scratch that, with how incompetent they are portrayed it's like when the junkie steals fiber optic cable thinking they can sell it and it turns out they made it worthless, because that's basically what they did from what I understand: they ruined the connection to Kanto, and ruined the Kanto airwaves to where they could never communicate with the boss… for SOME REASON?
No wonder Giovanni quit if he had to deal with those morons every day
