That's fair. I'm really just in it for the "fun" of opening packs and whatnot and making a collection/memories. Those that have been in the game for a while mention how popularity comes in waves of like 3-5 years.
Regardless, I'm sure we're in a bubble, or perhaps a downtrend from the madness of Shining Fates and Logan Paul. TCG is definitely still popular, but the aforementioned were definitely the recent local peak. So perhaps there won't be a "burst" but a downtrend for a little while. You have to remember, the Logal Paul shit only reminded millennials that pokemon cards exist and that they don't just print mons from the newest gens. With that knowledge in their minds now, I feel like many will continue to purchase cards.
