Why do the pokemon "fans" here hate 90% of first versions? You're literally admitting to not likely half the franchise at the door.

Those are not true pokemon fans, as they refuse to acknowledge other pokemon games without any explanation or reason, they probably do it because their egos are fragile

Only BW is anywhere close to being worth playing over the definitive versions. I know you're being disingenuous OP. SM have a better story than USUM, but as for every other set of first versions the only reason to play them is for the exclusive Pokémon.

It’s not that people “hate” the first version, it’s that the third version is almost always objectively better. Why play Ruby/Sapphire when Emerald has both their stories, plus the Battle Frontier, plus a bunch of other stuff?
It’s also not even true, I feel like most of veepee prefer SM to USUM.

Yes but if you half over half the franchise, you need to rethink whether or not you really enjoy Pokemon. This isn't even getting into all the other games.
