>The good oneThe clear shilling, Some of the first Pokemon that got them really needed them (Mawile, Blastoise, Charizard etc) but like always, GF fucked everything up by hyperfocusing on giving popular Pokemon Mega Evos, which in some cases just meant taking a good Pokemon and making it better, on top of that, Mega evolution was the very beginning of the lopsided and extreme shilling Charizard got, even at the expense of the other two members of its trio, by getting 2 Megas, and Mewtwo getting 2 megas was also retarded
The whole thing just felt tasteless in general, which kinda soured the concept to many
