>>48415473>Strongest remain the strongestWe saw a strong one get murked by a Battle Royale Alliance, and Barry and Gary, despite being strong, failed to enter top 32 because they met a stronger opponent in the early brackets
Guzma is strong, but if he had Kukui in the first round he'd have fallen before top 8, likewise, Kukui wouldn't have gotten there if he got Ash in the first round, or maybe he WOULD have beaten Ash in an early round, because the preliminaries in other leagues are shown to require a trainer to be a bit more versatile in different circumstances, which have included: 1vs1, 2vs2, terrain management, getting the most points in a group of 3, etc
None of these requirements have an option of ganging up on a faggot's single mon and eliminating him earlier, but for the trainer to have a strong team and a good mindset for battling
>AlainCompleted the requirements and participated and won
Boxers have weigh ins, Baseball has the minor Leagues
Not meeting the requirements for a sanctioned competition, literally, by its own definition, means you are not qualified to participate
>Knowing everyone from the other leaguesDon't have to know them, every single one of them beat 8 gym leaders that we have seen battle and have even seen Ash lose against
They certainly can't all be weenies and considering we have seen randos in the leagues give Ash issues (who as we have established is legitimately strong) and have even defeated the ones that beat HIM then I'm not sure that what you're implying pans out
>Only named ones matterAgain, named ones have lost before, to other named people or randos
A league that allows some asshole that woke up that day and decided to enter his Magikarp because he had nothing better to do that day, can't under any circumstance be considered legitimate, least of all in its inaugural outing, and that also speaks volumes of the level of competition
