It unironically has better story than Reborn, Unbound, Uranium, or whatever else it is people harp about the story of, there's plenty of realistic characters with believable motivations and interesting personalities, like the henchmen of the main villain who are simply afraid to rise up against the oppressive system of the demons, and the hex maniac at the start who gives you a starter but then tries to kill you to test your mettle and see if you will be useful then is a selfish and shady but useful ally to you, the whole game has a kino depressing atmosphere and there is built in pseudo-nuzlocke where you can't lose certain plot battles or you die, absolute SOUL
