When it comes to my personal concerns with owning Pokemon, the Balls they were caught in is usually the least of my worries.

I just use random ones. Or ones that have similar colors to the pokemon- if I intend on using said pokemon alot.

In game I don't give a fuck, I just use whatever the best ball I have at the time is. I go full balltism for online competition, since if I'm going to put so much time into optimizing my mons I might as well care about presentation as well.

Luxury and Friend ball are the only ones I care about. That's because Friend gives like 200 happiness so instant evo for happiness evos. Luxury is Soothe Bell but you don't have to equip item.

box legends go in master balls
everything else goes in normal poke balls
shinies go in something else but I've never found one so I don't actually have rules for it
