this sounds dumb as shit, but i have to say pokemon rejuvenation's regional form version of paras/parasect has an interesting concept that could actually be a neat buff

I've always found Parasect weird from a trainer perspective. Their Paras literally die and get overtaken by some weird fungus and trainers just don't give a shit.
A perfect regional form would be a Paras/ect without the fungus, or one that's "conquered" the fungus and now uses it as a weapon.

As much as I love Parasect, it has way too many issues to be any good in singles. It filled a specific role pretty well on a sand team I had for doubles back in either 6th or 7th gen.
