I know that we constantly get ironic threads about how Gen 2 is the best, the height of Pokemon, the last time it was good, how it's being targetted by a conspiracy and other assorted nonsense, but I do actually like the way the Pokemon move in Crystal the best. There's something, I think it's a sense of weight, to their introductions that I feel hasn't been carried over to later generations that also feature the intro animations. Particular favorites include Pikachu, Totodile, and HootHoot. Pic related is really cool too, though I'd sort of prefer if Mewtwo had remained as bestial looking as it was in its original sprite.
