Pokémon Sword and Shield Question?

I'm slowly getting back into Pokemon again. Probably because of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl & Pokémon Legends: Arceus coming soon
Is there still a competitive scene for Sword and Shield; What happen to the inject threads?
I kinda want some injected Pokemon to play through the facilities in Sword and Shield!
(I enjoyed the Battle Tree in Pokémon Sun and Moon)

Yeah the competitive scene is actually pretty alive, I'm able to get matches pretty frequently. Both of the games coming out soon aren't replacing it so that's probably why. Idk anything about the inject threads though.

its very easy, max raids and auras give a lot of ivs and theres the same bottle cap system in alola
there are mints that let you change natures as well
and swsh will be the game with tournamemts until the next original mainline game depsite bdsp
