The thing about digimon is that it’s a b list franchise, something you can’t really be to disappointed by due to low expectations, but a plethora of ways to be thrilled and amazed when the franchise hits a home run.
Pokemon on the other hand. Pokemon is the golden child, the definitive monster catching and raising game. They do one thing the fan base dislikes and it’s a complete shit show. That being said, Pokémon’s gotten stale. They’ve been having to play it safe for so long that they don’t even really try to venture out when they’re allowed to, LoA for example. Which is bullshit because they have billions of dollars
